80s Nostalgia November 14, 2009 Eagle Vision (Southeastern United States) I played video games when they still had Arcades in the mall. This was long before everyone had consoles like the Playstation, Dreamcast and Nintendo Game Cube. Nowadays, the modern hardware such as the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 bring games to so much realism, the players sit in awe of amazing soundtracks and graphics.
When I saw this title in the store, I had to step back in yesteryear. The single joystick and 1 or two button games are a thing of the past. However, one of the most classic games was Pacman that launched the craze of mass marketing in cartoons, cereal, merchandise and lunchboxes. Pacman, a simplistic game where one collects dots as he is pursued by ghosts is still a fun game to me. The reproduction from the original arcade version from graphics, music and gameplay are true to life. The user can adjust for bonus lives or how many lives to start out with. Built into the game are hints an instructions.
Another classic that I would have liked in this cart was Ms. Pacman and Super Pacman.
However, instead are included 6 other classic games from the Silver Age of Gaming. Each game is true to their original form in graphics, music and game play. These include Galaga and Galaxian ( the second generation of the original Space Invaders), Dig Dug 2, Xevious, Tower of Dracula, and Mappy. Another addition is Pacman Vs. Pacman Vs is a multiplayer-only game where you connect wirelessly, as one player takes of the role of Pacman whereas the others are in pursuit, as ghosts. This only requires one cart for multiplayer.
In the end, this is a nice collection of games, true to the originals. I highly recommend it.

Each of my two grandsons have a Nitendo DS game device. I purchased this game for them. It is a little difficult for the 5 year old but the 10 year old loves it.

My kids love it. It is so much fun to play compared to the other ds games they sell that are in my opinion to violent.

I didn't like the game because it has to be played with the arrows and I am 62 and just want to use the pen
