Several critical features are missing from this. You can't zoom in very far at all, you have very little control of the game like I remember. It's just not as fun as it used to be.

RCT2 is made for the expreienced player who already mastered rct1, or the new player who just likes rollercoasters.
There are a number of things that are different from rct1, you can make your own scenario, and thats a huge plus, the expansions aren't much by themselves but seem like the orginial rct2 is missing something without them. It is easier to attract guests and there are a lot more rollercoasters, and there are more options and the six flags parks, there are things the game could of used but the pre designed rides with the scenery is what blows the game away,this is far better than rct3, and the graphics are good, however this was the last good thing he made until he made locomotion.

I have played this game for a little over 1.5 years. The game is easy to under stand. The graphics aren`t the best. i admit that I have never finished a sceaniro. the game has very little bugs (I have not seen any.)Anyone can play it. My 7 year old sister can play it non-stop with some help. I would give it 3 billions stars f I could.
Pros:
many choices of what to do
exellant price
easy to learn interface
educational(I think schools should use it for math and economics)
Cons:
hard to manage employees.
That is all i can think of :)

You'd think that there's not much more that could be added to the first Roller Coaster Tycoon, but this game did not fail in impressing. New ideas for parks as well as themes and goals are imaginative and fun. Definately recommend this product.
