Product Description

Some things never go out of style. A rainbow of five rings fits over a cone with rocking base. Stacking toys help baby develop fine motor skills while encouraging cognitive abilities. Made of teethable material.

Editorial Review
For generations babies have delighted in this classic stacking toy. Consisting of five bright candy-colored rings in graduated sizes looped over an 8-inch-tall plastic post, the Rock-A-Stack helps babies develop coordination as they learn to stack the easy-to-grasp rings in the proper order. Little ones will have the time of their lives sorting, stacking, and tasting to see if the rings really taste as good as they look. Made of absolutely safe, washable soft plastic suitable for teething. --Marianne Painter

2 out of 5 stars Boring and Ignored   October 6, 2009

My daughters had no interest in this toy. A couple of times I saw my youngest use the rings for bracelets otherwise it didn't get played with. It was a waste of money and I would not buy this again for another child.

5 out of 5 stars Surprising Number of Ways to Play With This Toy   October 5, 2009
Citizen John (Washington, DC)
My 9 month-old twins play with this toy in all kinds of ways. They're not at the point of stacking the disks/rings yet, but they do a lot of other things. For example, they throw the rings with the aim of trying to get them to roll on their side. Most of the time they don't succeed at that but sometimes they do, and then they might have to crawl to retrieve them. This is great for developing motor skills and it shows that they understand something of the concept of a wheel. They also get exercise.

We also play together with this toy in different ways. For example, I can sit across from a baby and throw a disk in her lap and then she throws it back in my lap and so on. We move onto different colors and sizes. They can do this at 9 months old and it's fun for them. They also trade the rings between each other and I can't say I understand what kind of game that is but they like it.

We clean the rings every night along with all the things we clean (there are so many). But these are easy to clean and this is a very durable toy.

5 out of 5 stars Great toy   September 27, 2009
Kathleen Mccormack (Boston, MA)
Our 6 month old has been playing with this for about 2 weeks. She loves this toy. She loves playing with the yellow base that the donuts go on, and she loves playing with the donuts themselves. This keeps her attention for 20+ minutes and she loves tossing the donuts around and then playing with the base by tipping it over so she can reach it again after she pushes it out of her reach. It is so fun watching her play with this toy!

5 out of 5 stars Love it   September 12, 2009

My 6-month-old son loves this toy. I originally purchased it because I remember playing with the same toy when I was young, and he loves playing with it as much as I did. It helps teach colors to your child and helps with motor skills as he learns to stack the rings. Good buy!

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy for kids age 1+   September 10, 2009
Leila Cocker
We - or actually our son - got this toy as a birth present. As soon as he started to grasp for things I gave him one of the rings to play with. He loved to play with it a lot, sucked at the rings and had a lot of fun. Now, that he is 16 months old, he really enjoys the whole toy. Every single day he gets it out of his toy box and plays with it.
It is a great toy, a wonderful gift and a perfect fit for every toddler.
