This cartridge works very well and it is cheap. I refill my cartridges via www.printpal.com. They offer ink refill kits at unbeatable cost. Cheap out the web for free shipping and discounts.
You will not find anything best thank amazon and printpal.com.

I am changing my cartridge every six months since I do not print a lot and amazon is one of the last which sells original cartdriges for my lexmark printer.I dont like to use refurbished ones.Great price and very fast shipping.
 Good Quality Print, Cartridges Dry Out Quickly March 21, 2007
Have owned an X5150 all-in-1 for a few years, uses 82 and 83 cartridges. Print quality is very good, decent scanner also. But if you don't use the printer enough to empty the cartridges quickly, they dry out(6-9 months) while still mostly full. Start streaking and skipping, no amount of cleaning in or out of the printer will restore the function. Discouraging to have to keep replacing partially full cartridges.

First, why do uninformed users bother to post reviews? Ego? If you go buy a new printer, you'll get a "starter" cartridge that has around 1/4 the yield of this one, not to mention being environmentally irresponsible.
Take a moment and learn the options available on the print setup of various software programs to improve yield (e.g. no need to use ultra-high-quality to print checks in quicken).
Much of the complaining about inkjet ink use comes from this kind of user-laziness situations. I estimate that you can DOUBLE the output of this inkjet cartridge by taking 15 minutes to set up the printer setups of your various software properly for the intended use.
It's a no brainer to get this version rather than the "regular" yield UNLESS you leave your printer without printing for long periods of time.
