Bought it for the $7 price but will end up throwing it in a yard sale for a quarter. The handset falls off the base at the slightest bump and is awkwardly thin, the base is light and is pulled off the nightstand when you answer the phone because the cord is too short (forget about handing the phone to the person on the other side of the bed -you have to hand them the whole phone and then it slides off it's base and folds down flat), the ring tone is a horrible digital song that can't be changed, I can hear the phone ring 3 times in the other room before this set rings, the display can't be read at night (it's black on grey and not backlit), and I discovered how important it is to have the dial buttons on the handset and not on the base - I won't make that mistake again.

I own this phone. The handset works ok, but on speakerphone the volume is low incoming, and your callers will have a hard time hearing you on speaker outgoing. You'll end up picking up the handset, which if you wanted to use this phone in your office, you will not be happy about. Also, if using the phone in the horizontal position, the handset slides off the base really easily, it is not very secure unless you set it up in the vertical position. Sometimes you'll get electronic feedback noise.
