Effective for the price March 22, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This calculator($6.99) is: 1) Cheap 2) Power packed(3 mem variables, preset formulas) 3) Durable(cover is hard and does not have easy-to-break edges - very easy to slide) 4) Clear(large two line lcd display for a scientific calculator of this price, color-coded buttons to find the needed buttons more quickly) 5) Relatively attractive(silver finish and glossy top that surrounds the display)
I like this calculator so far since it cost me mere pocket change. Since I am a high school calculus student, I am not allowed to use a graphing calculator on any test. However, I am able to use scientific calculators. This scientific calculator, unlike many other generics, have certain features desirable for a student of mathematics. If you are out of school already, I would just use either software on the computer or one of the high quality graphing calculators.
