Awesome August 13, 2008 I'm giving it a 3 only because there is a more advance and powerful model, the Casio fx- 570ms, that is on the market but not listed in amazon. That model could solve quadratic equations and simultaneous equations, functions that simply cannot be found in this as well as many other cheap TI calculators. Nevertheless this model has what it takes to be ranked as number 2. It is cheap, extremely durable (dropped it several times and still usable), light, and most importantly it has good punchable buttons (as a math major i could go frenzy on this calculator). If you can't get the 570ms, this model is your next best alternative.
Good product April 29, 2008 Works well, unlike my old calculator which used to throw junk values after doing a slightly complex operation!
casio calculator October 3, 2007 i liked the calculator, it is very straight to use, not complicated, i've been using this type of calculator for six years including my high school years and in my college education, for me it works pretty well,
Good college calculator September 26, 2007 Very easy to use product that covers all needs of a Freshman, without having the more complex funtions not allowed at exams. Great value for the money.
Amazing January 4, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My new school forced me to get a scientific calculator after using a graphing calculator (TI-83) for several years. Using this calculator is a breeze. I now prefer to use it over my TI. The natural textbook display allows one to input a long formula error free. I highly recommend this calculator.
