3 out of 5 stars A Dim Bulb   November 4, 2009

This pocket-sized projector is easy to use out-of-the-box. The BIG flaw is the projection light, which has only two settings and is far too dim. If you are confined to a small closet and complete darkness, it's all right. Otherwise, you won't like what you see (if you can see it at all).3M Pocket Projector MPRO120--.33LBS

2 out of 5 stars Small & Interesting, But   October 30, 2009

Brightness and resolution were disappointing. But for the size and portability of the unit would be acceptable in some applications. If you're planning to watch a sporting event in a large format screen you will be disappointed. If you're making a sales pitch to a small group of customers it would probably be okay.

I love this device. When I was online, i ran into this handheld projector. I always wanted a projector and THIS IS THE perfect one at the right price. However, I was skeptical about the brand (never heard of it). If it was Sony, Toshiba, etc... I would have kept it. Now, listen very carefully. This device work and its strong! It's really nice, light, and perfect for movie night. I don't have any movies on my iphone so the only thing I could check was video(s) on Youtube.

It played well. The color is beautiful and nice. I believe if you have movies in HD on your ipod/iphone etc, it would be SUPER! However, I don't have that... So, I am returning it because it wasn't as clear as I want it. I will try a more expensive model. At least I tried it and now i understand waht i need and want!

i gave it a 4 out of 5. The clarity and quality was a little less than I expected. Great device! Studnets will love!

4 out of 5 stars Good for its size   October 16, 2009

This very small projector does a pretty good job. If you are expecting something that will match up with the "big boys," you will be disappointed. This unit cannot be used with overhead fluorescent lights at all! Even some of the "canned" lights will overpower it if turned up to full. But in a reasonably darkened area, it gives a good and very large image. (Remember it is only 10 lumens; 12 in high power mode.)

The major disappointment is connecting to an iPhone. You need a special cable (not included) to connect to the cables included with the unit. Then, it appears, you can only see video from an iPhone/iPod; you could not see a browser or other apps. That means this would not work for a small presentation unit connected to an iPhone, etc.
