Fair for the price November 21, 2009 Star (Pennsylvania) It is cumbersome to get from the VPN files to mp3 files, much easier from the iPod touch I ended up using with a $10 microphone. Also figuring out where a recording is in the filing system is not always clear unless you noted this elsewhere. However, for the price it is OK. I use it as a back-up to my iPod touch, which has more user-friendly features like titles for recordings and easier Wi-Fi file transfer.
Not for dictation !!! November 21, 2009 David B. Mcmahon (Charleston, West Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You cannot, during recording, back up a little bit and make changes. Is is very frustrating that all the product descriptions do not tell you that. I had to send it back.
Works as expected November 20, 2009 Sylvia Valerio I'm happy with my purchase, works great for what I needed it for... capturing lectures ... playback quality is awesome! can upload easily to my PC...
Only wish the earphone jack was compatible with my ear phones... need to run by Radio Shack to get an adaptor so I an use my ear phones...
not bad at all November 20, 2009 Aram R. Sadda gets the teacher in a big lecture hall. sound is way better on computer.
Love it! November 18, 2009 J. Ostermiller (Denver, CO) I don't have anything to compare, as this is the first I have purchased, but it has done everything I want and then some. When I first received it, I stuck it in my shirt pocket and walked around my business to see how things were recorded. It even picked up a customer's voice on a telephone call. I used it at a 4 day conference and it recorded everything that happened. Highly recommended.
