when I bought my Kindle, I thought it would be a good idea to get a gel skin to protect it. I am not kind to my electronics. My husband said that it was difficult to get the gel skin onto the Kindle just right, but once it is on, it looks great and is nearly seamless.

The idea is basic and I've had mine for over 9 months and have taken it off and put it on my replacement kindle. It's exactly what it says it does- protects the back from scratches, etc. I am glad I have mine since I thought the leather cover was too bulky and a waste of money. I have the neoprene sleeve for overnight and the gelskin to protect the back for the days.

I bought this for my husband's Kindle since we had success with protective screens for mine. Of course, I found out the hard way that this doesn't do that job after hours of attempts to separate the rubbery background from the front screen cut out. Since the sales writeup says it fits the 6" screen Kindle, I thought it actually fit the reading surface. There's $20 thrown away!!!!

Maybe its my mistake but I thought it would cover all my kindle's surface. And also thought that its is removable so I would be able to choose to use it whenever I like. Considering my expectations price seems to be really high for a kind of sticker. I'm sorry guys for my adverse comments. But I should make a confession, it is the best quality sticker I've ever seen :)
