| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air each have a Mini DisplayPort that allows you to connect an external display or projector using an adapter. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees. Use the Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter to connect an advanced digital monitor, such as the 20- or 23-inch Apple Cinema Display.

Worked as described March 19, 2010 Julian (Atlanta, GA USA) This adapter worked as described to hook my Macbook Pro to my Panasonic Plasma screen
For Mac mini February 27, 2010 JL (Milwaukee, WI) Just got a mac mini (love it) and purchased two flat panel monitors. Needed this adapter for the monitors. Works great. No problems.
Mouse Lag December 28, 2009 Kai Brinker (Brooklyn) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this adapter for use with my new late 2009 iMac and a 2006 model-year ViewSonic monitor. Hooking this adapter and the monitor up causes the mouse to "stick" for about half a second every four seconds. I've tried this with both the Magic Mouse and an early Apple USB optical mouse (M5769). Apple's discussion groups have a three-page thread of customers with similar issues. There has been no update so far. The adapter for VGA appears to work flawlessly.
A am waiting for a fix from Apple. This product has been out for many months, so I am not too hopeful.
DisplayPort to DVI connector December 5, 2009 NewCo Builder The connector works as advertised but if there is any substantial movement of the MAC it can (and has) come loose. Apple should have provided a second DVI port on the card so as to avoid the need for the connector.
It does what it's supposed to do. November 20, 2009 P. J. Conlon (Wexford, Pa) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This adapter does exactly what it's supposed to do. Change Mini-Display Port into DVI. It does no more and no less than exactly what it says it does. So everyone quit your whining and get over it. If you wanted the normal display formats, then you should have got a PC. The price is the price, if you want the usual very high Apple quality then you get what you pay for, a solid adapter that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
