I think this is a must have if you own a flip. It is everything they say and even though it is hard shelled it is still small and portable.

This case is perfect protection for the flip mino hd camera. It's small enough to not be cumbersome, but extremely well-padded to keep the camera from jiggling inside the case. This is a perfect way to protect the camera, even when flying (no fear of it being crushed.)

The reality is, there is no custom foam insert with this case. It is filled with foam but it doesn't conform to the shape of the Flip Mino HD as specified. It's just two flat sheets of foam and you have to seriously compress the box to close... it takes so much pressure that I am concerned about it damaging the camera. I don't use it.

nice case. it's so solid that i feel as though it could take quite a long fall and keep the cam safe the entire time. seems well-built, and it's as described.

I didn't like this product the moment I opened the box. It was too big and the foam inside was way too rigid. I had a difficult time closing it. For me it defeated the purpose of having a small recorder. If I used it, it wouldn't fit in the places that I store my camera when I travel.
