Second One for My Family November 24, 2009 W. Howsley (Plano, TX) I've owned a 30G iPod Classic for about two years and enjoyed it from the first day that I received it as a gift. My wife had tried a competing brand of MP3 player but found it ungainly to use, both in adding new selections and because of poor capacity. I bought the 120G Classic for her as a birthday present and I don't believe that she will exceed the capacity of this little marvel. Oh, by the way, I'm 73 years old and my wife is 70. As far as the machine is concerned, the sound is excellent and the ease of adding selections and overall use is exceptional. Kudos to Mr. Jobs and his team.
Excellent! November 23, 2009 Rafael Alves Santos (Porto, Portugal) Great item. Easy to use. Great quality.
I also use it to see some videos about one of my jobs as soccer coach while i'm waiting to go practice.
holy cow, that's a lot of memory! November 23, 2009 austinguy (texas) upgraded from the itty bitty 2GB nano to this 120GB beast with the intention of putting my entire music collection on it and selling my CDs for some extra cash. well... i've put every CD i own, some i've borrowed, a few movies, and the several hundred songs i've downloaded over the years. and let me tell ya... i will not be running out of room on this ipod anytime soon. 120GB is an INSANE amount of space!!! this may very well be my last ipod purchase. not because i'm dissatisfied in any way... but because i don't see myself ever needing additional memory in the near future! seriously, if you've got similar plans of making your entire music collection portable, i would definitely recommend investing in this piece of hardware. it's like having a cineplex and record store in your pocket. rock on!
Does not work November 21, 2009 A. Dell (Alaska) I bought this ipod to replace my fourth generation 20 gig that was damaged on a fishing trip. It worked great for about 4 months, then it started randomly skipping over certain songs after only a few seconds of play. A couple of months later, it started freezing itunes every time I tried to sync it, so I was unable to put any new music or podcasts on it. I tried to restore it, however, that didn't work either, leaving me with an ipod with no content on it, that would not sync. Now, when I plug the ipod into my MacBook, itunes does not recognize it. I have tried sending it in to Apple 3 times, and each time they mail it back to me, saying that absolutely nothing is wrong with it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, I have tried syncing it to friend's itunes on other computers, nothing works. Ipods have suffered a major dip in quality, as has Apple customer service.
Awesome! November 19, 2009 Danielle Baye (Shelton, WA) I love my Ipod! Would have wanted it to be a little cheaper. But oh well.
