2 out of 5 stars Awful product with NO number for technical support.   November 21, 2009
    Jeffrey S. Alek (Annandale, VA)
First off, not even a 900 number for technical support, right off the bat that shows the quality of the company that sells this product.
I live inside the DC Beltway, and this unit is just terrible with reception, and tiles constantly. I bought a new digital antena for it, no dice, still awful.
First off it goes through a 10 minute scan, and there is no feature for tuning the direction of the antena. Once you move the antena to say try to get NBC, you lose other programs from the scanned list. Only work around I have found was to guestimate the best antena direction and restart the horrible 10 minute scan.
I have NO idea how this product is rated almost 4 stars, maybe I got a bum unit, but ZERO technical support is just unacceptable.
I am going to go down to radioshack or one of the retail stores to hand test one, just sucks I blew the money on this "item".

1 out of 5 stars Digital Convertor Box   November 17, 2009
    John W. Yu
I bought the box for it advertised that it can convert any digital signal into analogue. However, when I received the box and hook it up to my TV, it just can't detect any of my TV channels. I read the manual and there it mentioned that the box is only good for certain type of digital frequencies. That's the reason why and I have to return it. Amazon was great and immediately gave me a full refund but asked me to dispose the box instead of sending it back.

4 out of 5 stars Works good; brings in good picture   November 16, 2009
    Glenn in Atlanta (Metro Atlanta)
This converter is for a small analog TV in our RV. The first converter purchased early this year worked for only a few months, then died. This new one was purchased to replace it. Was easy to install and works to bring in several stations; probably as good as we'll ever get with the small roof-top antenna provided on RVs.
Was pleased with the quality and the price.

4 out of 5 stars TV digital box   November 16, 2009

The box was easy to install. It is a nice small size. I only get about six stations. For the most part the stations come in good. I probably need a better antenna.

    1 out of 5 stars So-So Product   November 15, 2009
    H. T. Milhorn III (Meridian, MS USA)
I got this product to get my analog VCR to tape my shows. It was a nightmare to install. The manual said nothing about hooking up VCRs so I had to figure it out. In this case, be prepared to spend hours trying to install it. When I finally got it to work, the picture did not fill up the screen. Be prepared to lose about 3-6 inches of viewability. The remote was a cheapie so I hated having to use it. When the product arrived, the product had a big dent in it and the store says no returns so I was stuck with a product I hated that I ended up not using. I was frustrated because I felt like I blew $50 for nothing. The box and remote ended up in storage. I'm going to have to sell it at a garage sale or donate it to Goodwill. I ended up buying a Toshiba DVR that was incredibly easy to use. I wish I had gotten the DVR in the first place instead of this lousy box.
