Good before leakage February 8, 2010 A. Phillip I liked these well enough that I would have bought more of them but then the red started leaking out all over the place. It looked like a small murder scene. It might happen to 1 out of 3 (I had a pack minus green) but based on other reviews, probably a bit less frequently.
Definitely writing very LOUD September 15, 2009 M. ORIAS (San Jose, CA) I really love this pens and actually wrote Sharpie last year about having it also be in purple and pink, The asst. six pack has a purple pen but the other color was orange. One out of two is not bad. I also hope they come out with a purple two pack version. I will also review the retractable version and again write Sharpie to produce a Purple pen of the retractable type. YAY for Sharpie, They keep producing products that continue to feed creativity and inspire me to manually write more and continue to keep a journal. These pens work exceptionally well with Moleskines and any type of journal.
My new favorite pens! September 6, 2009 J. Brannon I was skeptical when I heard of a Sharpie brand that doesn't bleed through, but when I heard of the new Sharpie Pens, I just had to pick them up. I've tested the markers in three different notebooks (a Staples college-ruled, an Ampad college ruled, and a 99c. wide-ruled composition notebook) and the markers did not bleed through. (I write with medium heaviness, as in I apply a little more pressure than is probably necessary when I write.) Some are complaining about the light colors, but I prefer them to the dark. They're not so bright that you can't see what you just wrote the way normal light markers work, so don't let that stop you from trying these out. Happy writing!
Did not live up to hype August 23, 2009 J. Freitas (Massachusetts) I bought these pens thinking they would be great. I was looking for a good fine point pen. I returned them immediately after opening the package and trying them out. I tried them on 3 different kinds of paper and they bled through each one. (I could clearly see my writing on the other side of the paper without having to shine it up to the light). It would make it really annoying to write double sided on paper where you could see your writing coming through the other side.
Finally a pen that doesnt bleed August 16, 2009 Mangmang (new york) Hi I have only used the black one but gone through boxes and boxes of Pilot gels that bleed all over the paper, I definitely prefer it, No bleeding at any point might bot be as fine as other pens but does a great job with no mess.
