Product Description
Rounding out the line is the RCA ANT1500, a flat multi-directional antenna which patented dual-plane design provides consumers with more antenna in less space. Designed to be hung on the wall, rest on a stand or lie flat on a shelf, the 10.4-inch square, 0.78 inch-thin antenna virtually disappears in a room. The ANT1500's patented design consistently outperforms traditional antenna designs when receiving signals across the VHF and UHF bands.

1 out of 5 stars RCA 1500 FLat antenna Horrible Product   November 22, 2009
Malvika N. Nemade (USA)
It just did not work for me. What a horrible product? Spent $25 dollar for nothing?

4 out of 5 stars Pretty goood for an alternative antenna   November 17, 2009
Myrna Calderon (Norwalk, Ca United States)
I bought this for an addition to the regular rabbit ears antenna. Since I have several wall as blockers and living close to the freeway doesn't make any easier. I have the antenna hanging on the wall close to the window, to get better reception. It works even when it is not that close to the window. Cable sometimes has disruption you need an alternative antenna, my brother had cable there was still problems with reception hate it because he was paying for good reception. When my brother saw my TV working good, he wanted one too and he like it the only thing is that he had to put it on the floor to make it work because he lives close the airport the digital reception was interrupted and by the way he cancelled his cable. If there seems to be a problem when you use it there are several ways to hang it or place on the counter, floor, or desktop either way, it does give a better view on the TV.

4 out of 5 stars Works Good   November 11, 2009

I bought the antenna due to it's unconventional clean look, but I didn't expected much, since I didn't know if it really works. When I first tried it, it was a disappointment since I didn't get that many channels. But I read on another review that I had to rescan the channels. When I did that, I surprisingly got a lot more channels than the bunny ear antenna.

So all in all, it works pretty good and better than the ugly bunny ears. One important thing to note is that the position on the wall is very important for reception AND also the wire connecting to the TV does affect reception in a major way.

1 out of 5 stars Didn't work for me   November 9, 2009
William H. Dearing (Somerville, MA USA)
I bought this antenna because it got relatively good reviews. In the end, however, it didn't do any better at catching signals in my home than the old FM antenna that came with one of my long lost stereo receivers, which is to say that it didn't catch much of anything. So, based on that, I have to give it a single star.

However, the biggest problem with any antenna is that whether it works or not has little to do with the quality of the product, and more to do with where you live and how far you are away from the signal source. Other people had good experience with this product, and I bought it based on those reviews. Finding a decent indoor antenna, however, is maddening because it's so specific to things outside the control of the product manufacturer. I frankly have no idea if this product is any good or not. It didn't work for me. I've tried a couple of other indoor antennas, some rabbit ears, etc. I've had bad luck with all of them.

Right now, I'm researching putting a very large roof antenna on my home. I'll be in the back of the house where few will see it, and I've decided to go as big and as ugly as I can with the thing. Perhaps it's a bit extreme, but I figure if I'm going to go to the expense of putting up and wiring a roof antenna, I may as well ensure that it will work.

4 out of 5 stars Way better than bunny ears   November 9, 2009
Judson C. Mullin (Michigan)
Using this antenna I pick up 5 more channels than I did with my "powered" bunny ears antenna.
