3 out of 5 stars calculator Canon China   January 22, 2009
M. Pierzchalski
Calculator has Canon's name but it doesn't look precious.
It is card size and 4 mm thick, and it must be a lot of light around to
get display on. Advantage: pocket size.

1 out of 5 stars no need to purchase   January 18, 2009

it turns on only if you put it under a desk lamp. It is like having chains to your ankles, you can't go anywhere with it. Please do not waste your money nor time.

4 out of 5 stars Great little calculator   May 8, 2008
Allen J. Maniccia (Los Angeles)
Nice calculator that's there when you need it because it's small enough to carry with you. Low light sensitivity could be better (or have the option to slip a button cell battery into it) but for the money, it's great.

I agree with the first review. It does take an immense amount of light for it to work. It has a smaller solar panel than my last calculator from Radio Shack. I feel this calculator is inferior to my Radio Shack calculator. It is not as thin as my last calculator either. The LCD is not as bright as my last one either. Hopefully this calculator will do what I need it to do, as Radio Shack no longer makes their credit card calculator.

1 out of 5 stars Needs too much light   July 7, 2007

Does not work unless you are outdoors (where you can't see the display) or under a good amount of indoor light.
