Perfect for the Home! November 12, 2009 Diesel (Livermore. Ca, USA) The basket isn't that big and it doesn't cross cut... If you can live with that as I can this is the deal!!!
This Aurora shredder is very small, but does the job and is quiet November 12, 2009 ruth beckerman (FORT LEE, N. J.) HAD I KNOWN HOW SMALL THIS SHREDDER WAS, WOULD HAVE PASSED ON IT.
HOWEVER, IT IS VERY QUIET AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE TOO MUCH PAPER, IT'S O.K. THE BASKET IS SO SMALL,SO THAT I HAD TO CONSTANTLY EMPTY IT...AND I DON'T LIKE THE WAY IT SHREDS...MY OTHER SHREDDERS ALL SHREDDED THE PAPER SO THAT IT LOOKED LIKE POPCORN...WITH THIS ONE, YOU JUST GET LONG STRIPS OF PAPER, MUCH TOO BIG FOR MY LIKING.
BASICALLY, FOR THE PRICE, IT'S ADEQUATE BUT NEXT TIME, WILL MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE BASKET IS TWICE THE SIZE AND SHREDS MORE MINUTELY.
Works great! November 8, 2009 Summergirl85 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this a few weeks ago. REally like it. Has lots of "pulling" power when you use just a few sheets to shed. Haven't had any problems so far. If you're just going to shred stuff a few times a week, it works great!
Buy yourself some nice scissors October 28, 2009 K. Carlson (CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This shredder is horrible. It jammed on the 5th item I stuck in it while testing it out.
A piece of thin junkmail. 15 minutes later, after clearing the jam, it jammed again on 4 pieces of paper.
I really wish I spent the money on a nicer shredder. I regret buying this shredder.
Don't get suckered in by the price. Buy a quality shredder. This is not one of them.
Very good for the price October 23, 2009 K. Tomaszewski I have had shredders in the past that tend to jam up and I have to clean the slicers out before proceeding and this one has performed very well without jamming. I used it for shred a years worth of documents and was very pleased with how smooth the task went. I would recommend this product.
