Finally got one November 22, 2009

First used one of these when I rented a GPS with a rental car (left my Nuvi 350 home). It worked great. I have had my own about a month. It's great, stays where I put it (dash of my 2005 Town & Country minivan). I have never had luck with suction cups, but I am happy with this.

It really doesn't move. I love that it doesn't leave anything on my dash, and I can easily put it in a new vehicle or hide it. It's smaller than I thought it would be so that was a pleasant surprise. I am a little afraid the bottom will rip because of the design, but so far it has held up well. Worth the extra money.

This mount is great for my Garmin nuvi GPS. No rings on the windshield and easy to throw in the glovebox when you leave the car.

My dashboard is quite curvy. I was a little concerned that the mount may not conform to the curves. But, no need for any concern---as it works great. When I leave my car, I just push it under my seat to hide it. Much better than a windshield mount.
No more falling suction cup mount November 20, 2009

We were in great need for an item that was better than the suction cup mount. The suction cup mount would, in varying temperatures and humidity, fall off the windshield while I was driving. This was more than annoying as sometimes I would be relying on the GPS for directions as it fell off.
This device really solved the problem. I really thought that it would slide around the dashboard, but I've driven it in two convertibles (a Mustang and a Sebring) and a Honda Accord sedan for weeks now with no issues. It comes apart so that you can even travel with it. It's a little bit of an eye sore, but it's really worth it.
