exactly what i expected -works great. the only problem is the quality -cheap plastic. but for the price, absolutely fantastic.

Chargers and patch cables are a unglamorous but necessary accessory, and this one does the job very well. I'd prefer better materials and build quality, but that's a purely aesthetic concern.
This universal charger kit includes home and travel charging options, along with USB connectivity for your iPod as a byproduct. The retractable USB patch cable is a nice little plus. The build quality of the units are fine if nothing special - injection molded plastic. I see no reason to think that the workmanship would cause any issues, and all of the pieces have been used more or less constantly since purchased with great reliability.
Flawed Cable Design November 13, 2009

The extensible cable has a designed flaw, every time you pull on the cable you're stressing the ends where the wire comes in contact with the adapter which will become loose and render the product useless.
