These are FANTASTIC, I aleady owned these for 2 years November 21, 2009 R. Lurer (Tampa, Florida) The previous pair I owned were put through workouts at the gym, taken into the sauna, stuffed into my backpack for flights, caught on the stairs and pulled out of my ears as I ran up the stairs, and have never ever failed. The bass is deep, the buds fit all ear canals as they come with every size and Sennheiser is a high quality headphone maker so you cannot possibly go wrong there either.
The cons... well, with these, there really aren't any I have found... they are PERFECT for iPods, and honestly, I bought several because I'm afraid I won't be able to find these again and over the years I've tried so many and either returned them or given em away. People who have tried these swear by them...
Oh and best of all, they block out noise, they block out the airline sound, they allow you to actually listen to movies on your laptop, the cord is long enough to put a splitter on your laptop and two people watch a movie. We use two of these earbuds with a splitter and have plenty of cord to move around even when we get a "complimentary" upgrade with our frequent flier miles to first class...If you've had the uncomfortable occasion to share a movie with someone with headphones and a short cord, you know how frustrating that can be!
So I hope this has been helpful, the sound, that is most important, look at the stats, I'm a media junkie, I have a Apple Macbook Pro, sounds great, I have a Android (Google phone) works great..., I have an iPod, sounds fantastic, and the pc, it sounds great there too.. My absolute favorite is my ipod mini though... that is where I prefer because these are light and the iPod works best with it.
Legit, but flawed November 21, 2009 R. Devine (Florida USA) I like these headphone overall, the price point is fantastic but they have their flaws. I'd say you get what you pay for with these.
After seeing that these were Amazon's best selling headphones and reading the reviews I was very excited to buy these. However, when I first used them I was left thoroughly unimpressed. Over time, these have gradually grown on me and I am less disappointed. They are undoubtedly solid for sitting and casual listening and the sound quality is great. However my primary use for them is jogging. It took a while to find a good fit in the earbuds, but even now that I have a solid fit I find I have to constantly readjust them while running. Worst of all is the quality of the sound while running. Frankly it is unacceptable. The wind whistles through them and the cable noise is very loud. But I will accept blame for that choice, these are not supposed to be used for athletic activities anyway I assume.
Pretty Good With Treble Booster EQ Setting November 20, 2009 NussDog (New Orleans, LA USA) I like these okay. Think I paid around 10 bucks for these. With that being said, I feel I've gotten my money's worth, but I do have a couple complaints. I've paid 10 dollars for ear buds in the past that I've liked more.
1. On my iPod, these only sound clear with the EQ set to Treble Booster. If not set to treble booster, the bass with sound really bad, no matter the volume.
2. The cord length is a tad too short. Another 6 inches to a foot would have been great.
3. The ergonomic design of the cord still bothers me. I've gotten used to wearing the chord behind my head, which is fine when I'm at the gym, but when I'm at home I like to have the chord in front of me.
great November 20, 2009 Chad Chavers (San Diego, CA) totally worth it. wish the earbuds didn't have different length cords to the ears though. awesome isolation, best base
These sound great! November 19, 2009 John Long (Phoenix Arizona) These earbuds are the finest sounding I have ever used. They are clear weather I'm listening to a book or a concert.
