I bought this PA speaker system for my wife to use with her luncheon club. It was a very good choice. It is easy to use and does the job nicely in a medium sized room to let the speaker get through audience chatter. I would recommend this unit to friends. The price was reasonable too.

I needed this for a family reunion to be heard over a gathering of 80+ people. In a nutshell:
What I loved about it:
The price
The size
The portability
How it worked when testing it at home
But, I quickly fell OUT of love because:
When it was time to go LIVE and use it at the reunion, did not work at all
I had even purchased the upgraded microphone - neither the mic that came with it or the upgrade worked
Morale of the story - it would have been better to invest the additional dollars to get quality. I should have read the reviews on this more closely. Oh well.... it now serves as a conversation piece, as I now use it as a table for me to place my drinks in the rec room. Lesson learned!!!
Great Portable PA w/Wireless Microphone! Highly Recommended August 24, 2009

The Pyle "Battery Powered PA System With Wireless Microphone" is surprisingly well made and has features I would have expected on much more expensive equipment. We run workshops, often at our customer's locations, and needed a portable PA system that could easily be transported and doesn't require a lot of power. Here are my observations:
+ Long Battery Life - Worked for over 4 hours straight, but can be connected to AC to work as well
+ Wireless Microphone - Built into the system, has good range, and acceptable sound. Battery included.
+ Inputs for 2 Microphones, 1 Guitar, and 1 Audio Connection - Each with it's own volume control
+ Portable - Built in retractable handles and wheels makes moving this around very easy
+ Includes a mini-Plug to 1/4" Converter - A handy accessory
+ Includes Echo Effect - A fun adjustable effect to liven up your voice (my kids loved playing with this :-)
Note: My unit shipped with one of the fuses in a bag and it needed to be installed before the system would work.
This unit worked much better than expected and is a great value for the performance of this small sized unit!
Highly Recommended!
Good System, Bad Microphone July 20, 2009

The system is great, I was intending to use only the PA, for the microphone would not work for my needs. When I first got it, the microphone worked well and was a good microphone for some other use, but it broke after a few hours of use. I contacted the company to see if they could replace it, but no response for at least three weeks. But the PA lasts long on the battery and charges quickly. It is loud, but the audio input isn't as loud as I would want it to be, but you can play audio through 1 of the 2 MIC inputs, which is good to have two inputs. Overall, a great system, but don't buy it for the mic that comes with it.
