Pretty, sturdy, and easy to use. November 21, 2009 E. Beckmann (Missouri) Not as large as a golf umbrella, but big enough for one person. I use this too as a "sun" umbrella since it looks summery. The quality is great and it opens quite easily and quickly at the push of a button. It's also very attractive.
great, except for latch November 4, 2009 Harlan Harris (New York, NY USA) I've had this umbrella for nearly a year, and mostly love it. Great size, very sturdy construction, looks good. It has one substantial flaw, which is that the latch that holds the umbrella closed is not very effective, and it's easy to bump the umbrella and cause it to open unless you velcro it closed. In particular, the process of trying to velcro the umbrella closed necessarily bumps the latch, causing it to open!
Awesome October 22, 2009 M. Luu Solid construction. The frame is made of sturdy durable plastic. Not the crappy metal ones that bend and are susceptible to just a little force or torque. I got the metro umbrellas well but I definitely prefer this one.
Great Umbrella October 21, 2009 E. Peterson (New Hamshire) I shopped long and hard to find just the right umbrella. Was tired of small, purse sized whimpy umbrellas that just do not work well in windy weather. And when it rains, it's usually kind of stormy, which means windy! This one is a great size and very sturdy. Have used it several times and am very happy I made this purchase.
effective and stylish October 14, 2009 J. Lethal With this umbrella my off arm no longer gets drenched, and I have fairly wide shoulders. It's very big but not excessive for one grown man to walk under. Just be prepared to dodge other people's umbrellas if walking downtown. It looks very stylish and has gotten a few glances. So far wind hasn't "pulled" on it at all. It stays vertical and easy to hold where my old cheap umbrella would get whipped around and have to be wrestled with to control. I have yet to deal with fierce gusts, but it seems very sturdy and I'm not worried. It's a little harder to secure closed than I would like, with a bit of force needed to catch the latch and keep it from popping back open. It's a minor annoyance in an overall fine product.
