Amazon.com Product Description The Sennheiser HD201 Headphones keep out ambient noise while delivering powerful stereo sound with a rich, crisp bass response to your ears. The gold-plated adaptor enables a superior connection with your audio source, and the rugged design of the HD201 protects it from wear and tear. But these headphones are still lightweight and comfortable, with leatherette ear pads to keep your ears comfortable.

Great quality, great price November 19, 2009 Leen (USA) I was looking for some high quality headphones at a modest price, and a friend recommended these to me. In fact, the price is better than modest, it's pretty cheap, but the quality is still great. This is a really good buy.
Clear sound October 30, 2009 L. Gomez This brand makes excellent products, the sound quality is awesome.
The headphones arrived on time and in perfect condition
Not Bad October 19, 2009 Smooth-e (California, USA) I got it a long time ago for $20 and its still that price. I use it for gaming and my amp and it defiantly gets the job done and is worth the price. Now that it just thought of it I'm using them right now on my computer with no sound.. better go put on some music. They are a little blown out but only at really loud volumes.
Looks cheap, sounds good October 17, 2009 D. Joseph (Portland, OR USA) The HD-201's are a home replacement for my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. Since the Sony's fold and the Sennheiser's don't, that's how they're used. It was supposed to be the other way around.
These Sennheisers are inexpensive but represent a good value. The accuracy is good, dynamic range is good, and stereo reproduction borders on "very good." The materials of construction are cheap looking, but appear to be serviceable. The only concern that I have overall is the very thin cord.
The cord is also substantially longer than expected, great for listening to a home stereo. It requires the use of a cord wrap to take up the slack if you're going to walk around wearing them.
Can't beat these for the price October 14, 2009 Steven Kovar (Chicago) I'm very happy with these. I've had the HD202s in the past, and I'd say that the 201s sound a little better. I like the 202s also, and they are a bit heavier on the bass, but for me the 201s have a more well-rounded sound, with a little more crispness. I think it would be hard to beat these for the price. They have plenty of bass for me. Of course there are better cans for a lot more money, but I rate these 5 stars on all counts considering the price.
