Excellent Calculator November 13, 2009 Juleen J. Mowers (Colorado Springs, CO) I bought this for my son for high school and he couldn't be happier. It's amazing what this can do. HIGH QUALITY product. Very easy to use and understand the data.
Worst calculator that I ever bought November 12, 2009 G. Phillips (Washington) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was anticipating a top level easy to use calculator for $113! But instead, I got a very bulky confusing piece of junk. I expected to take it out of the package and use it like the older calculators; however, it is so complicated that I might as well use it as a doorstop. The instruction manual is absolutely abysmal. The display is something from the 1980s and it is very difficult to read. I do not recommend you buying this outdated, bulky, complicated piece of junk. It has tons of functions and if you have a semester to figure them all out, by all means go ahead and buy it. You really need to have a separate class just to figure this thing out. Make sure you use one first, before throwing your money away, I wish I never bought this thing.
what?? November 12, 2009 Kathia King (From some Navy base in Japan) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It took time to receive and it came damaged. The calculator only works if it is connected to a computer. I am trying to returne it.
TI-84 plus: a graphing calculation device October 27, 2009 Benjamin W. Mills (Gainesville, FL) In this review i will be focusing on two major points pertaining to the monetary exchange usage and overall quality of my calculating machine which is a TI-84 plus manufactured for Texas Instruments of Dallas, Texas by an outsourced factory located in the Peoples Republic of China.
The machine is well suited to meet professor recommendation for just about any math, or physics work (aerodynamics in my case). I could even go as far as saying "if one were so inclined they could put forth effort by entering data into the machine which is required in order to complete equations and the machine will accurately produce an answer to said equation."
The machine itself is of relatively high quality, not that materials used are anything too extravagant for example the device and is case are constructed of plastic but the complete assembly and rigid construction are testament to a well designed piece of equipment as far as I would expect a calculating device manufactured by an American company outsourcing to China.
From an economical standpoint I was expecting such a machine to cost me in the neighborhood of one hundred dollars and i was of course able to order one from this site for a reasonably lesser sum of around eighty five.
Hassle-free October 26, 2009 GG I received the product very quickly, and I ended up having to return it because I no longer needed it. I followed the return policy, contacted the seller, and received my refund very promptly.
