Linksys USBHub Review August 23, 2008
This USBHub was extremely useful for my old Dell Laptop computer, which only had one USB port. Now, I can permanently connect my printer, backup disk drive and USB Mouse. It was very easy to install and the short length of the connecting cable wasn't a problem for me.
Excellent Product August 17, 2008 Great product and works as advertised. Has plenty of spaced out usb ports. In case your usb devices are kind of wide.
i don't like it July 19, 2008 I don't like it, and had to go buy another one. the USB ports are too close together to be useful for me. I could not attach the broadband and printer, e.g., at the same time. I don't recommend it. There are a lot better ones on the market.
I could not use it July 3, 2008 I am not very knowledgable about computers. This turned out to be a USB hub and not a USB-2 hub which I required. Also the cord was much to short for my situation since I have no ports on the front of my computer. I gave it to my church rummage sale without opening it. The information was in the ad. I just didn't understand it.
Great for USB 1.x versions (skip if you're running USB 2.x) June 8, 2008 This has worked well on an older Dell notebook running USB version 1.x. I've plugged in multiple media readers, mice and cameras without a hitch. If you have USB ver. 2x, go with a different hub, since you will really want ver. 20 speed if you can get it.
