 Excellent heavyweight printer paper. October 16, 2009

For the last two or three years I have been using this paper every day with several different Epson printers in a professional design firm. We use it for printing proofs of catalogs and packaging design, and for printing sales sheets and fliers, and have been consistently happy with the results.
This heavyweight (47 lb.) paper is an extremely bright white, much brighter than standard copy paper, which makes colors appear crisp and vibrant. The color reproduction is both reliable and accurate, with prints matching screen colors every time (make sure you set your printer's color rendering to "perceptual"). Prints on this paper dry quickly and go on without smudging or warping the paper.
We have been very happy with this paper and our Epson printers, and recommend them to any student or professional working in the design field.

GOOD PAPER, I USE THIS KIND OF PAPER WHEN I HAVE LOTS OF NON PRIORITY PHOTOS TO PRINT, ALTHOUGH IT IS STILL GOOD PAPER FOR MOST ANY PHOTOS. MY BIG FORMAT PRINTER EPSON 3800 IS VERY SENSITIVE SO I ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE TO USE EPSON PAPER PRODUCTS FOR THE BEST RESULTS AND THIS PAPER IS FINE FOR WHAT IT IS.

I've been using this paper for at least 8 years now, and I love it. The colors are beautiful, it resists fading (Epson's specs claim 150 years for my printer), and it's inexpensive. It's perfect for photo album prints or framed photos, and the surface won't stick to glass or plastic like glossy paper sometimes will. By the way, that 3-star reviewer that said "sometimes the paper is off-white" may not be the best person to trust. Apparently they never bothered to look at both sides of the paper... the non-printable back side of the paper is slightly off white, which means that this person has been using the paper backwards sometimes without knowing it!

It is what it says it is. I bought it for postcards but it was too light. It's a nice weight photo paper but just not postcard weight. I ended up buying 140# paper from Kelly Paper store. This Epson paper is nice for what it is though.
