This book is a good cursor to use with the TI-89 for sttaistics & probability. For the examples presented, this was a good book.
However, if you're looking for a book that promotes an in-depth use of the TI-89 and statistics, I'd look elsewhere.

I ordered it as we had a tI 89 - it is a gift for my daughter a computer science major in Rutgers - well she is having no end of fun programing the calculator to check her probability work - the book is extremely helpful with examples - very good explanations - and of course guidance to programing the TI 89 graphing calculator!
