Product Description Most of us know that 1 + 1 = 2. How many of us know the sum of 4780 + 8909 + 962 and what is 3.5 percent of that? That's why this calculator is for you. Maintenance free, easy to use, comfortable to use, easy to read screen, loads of accurate results speed your way as needed.
Amazon.com Review The TI1706SV is an easy-to-use calculator, offering functions for square root, percentages, and memory for plus and minus values, along with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Operated by both battery and solar power, it's easily portable and functions well in any light. It also features surprisingly large, responsive keys for such a compact unit. The TI1706 has a lightweight design, although some users may find the casing to be a bit flimsy. Many calculators in the entry-level category offer more functions than the TI1706--subtotals and sales tax calculations, for example--but why buy such a calculator if those functions will go unused? If all you need are the most basic calculations, the TI1706 will fit the bill. --John Frederick Moore
Amazon.com Product Description Well equipped for any calculating need with a giant SuperView display and dual power.

I teach Middle school Ind Tech and purchased 17 of these calculators for different areas in the classroom. They work great. I have six classes of 30 or more students. Each student must use a calculators daily. I consider this a great little calculator for the cost.
