I'm a music teacher and my school has asked for me to work with the classroom teachers to better integrate. This book was a great way to start the conversation. The lessons are easy to follow and could be used by music teachers, classroom teachers, or both. I think occasionally, the lessons use music to teach the other subject, without reaching musical goals. Overall, it's been a good way to open the classroom teachers' eyes to possibilities and we've adapted the lessons to fit our situation. Thanks Karin Nolan!

As a teacher, these lessons were great at combining music with math concepts. My students loved the variety. This book includes several songs and reproducible handouts to use with the lessons. I recommend all elementary teachers get this book because it is a great way to combine our required math curriculum with a little fun and beauty! Lots of great ideas that I could use right away!
