Crusader Knight June 8, 2008 I bought this knight and horse for my son, 2, because he enjoys horses and knights. This is very durable, especially considering the abuse that my 2 and 3 year olds put it through. The knight is removable, and it helps my 2-year-old with hand-eye coordination to put him back in the saddle. The knight and horse have offered endless fun!

My wife kids and I greatly enjoy creating fantasy worlds and battles and romances with this line of toys. It's much more fun to be the dragon you've read about than simply read about it. While these toys are not educational getting down on the floor and playing with my kids is totally awesome and creates great connections for the future and, for the kids, knowing we're going to do that after homework time makes howmework time go a lot faster.

I think these items are so awesome! They have such detail! I was so impressed with these porducts that I actually began a search to find out who the company was that made these incredibly detailed figures. I was surprised to find that they are a rather low-profile company with not even a website of their own. I wish they would make more of these products in different lines. I would have liked to have seen more women figueres-LOL-like princesses and queens. I just bought it to add as a decoration for my living room that I've redone in Medieval Knights and every one comments on them-how life-like they are. They sort of remind me of the story of Indian in the Cupboard-how life-like they are. They would make good toys to play with too because they're made out of hard plastic (but no sharp edges)and the rider comes off the horse (even though he is bow-legged-LOL-and he fits snugly back on too as if he was molded to the saddle-nice). I've already determined that when I have my little boy we're going to decorate his nursery in knights and the first toys he will have will be these figurines and the castle I found that they sell as well.
