interesting but useless for class November 24, 2009 rumarjay (Idaho) This book was really interesting. I bought it to get a jump start with my chemistry class. This book leaves out almost every thing I needed to learn (MEMORIZE) which would have been handy. If your looking for help, your better off searching free websites.
Very Helpful September 22, 2009 Arthur Johnson When learning chemistry for the first time I found this book very useful. It is a great reference tool for anyone learning basic chemistry and a valuable book for students learning chemistry for the first time, or past students that need to revise basic chemistry concepts. If you need an easy to understand basic reference guide to chemistry, this is your book.
I Love Math - Great Help for kids to learn how to apply them selves September 12, 2009 Mario Balestreri Added to Library with other books to help communicate ideas and thoughts to kids. Variety in communicating is a great way to see other angles to help kids figure out how things work.
Great for non-science readers July 1, 2009 Kevin Arendt This book is great for people who want to learn the basics of chemistry but don't necessarily have a scientific background. It presents material in straightforward, easy to understand ways.
Good for Basics June 13, 2009 Bellasnow (Florida, USA) I usually don't have much of a problem with science and math, but for my first Chemistry class in college I choose to read this as a supplement. The reason being, I have not had a chemistry class in a few years. This is not a book with definitive answers to complex questions, but a useful tool to review basic concepts. Overall, I found it useful and clear, again I used mostly to refresh my memory.
