Product Description "I've been a questioner all my life..."So begins Academy Award-winning actress Shirley MacLaine as she invites listeners to join her on the most powerful, provocative journey of her life. Sparked by the experience of moving into a new house, she is inspired to look back across the remarkable professional and personal milestones she has experienced so far. Surrounded by the artifacts of a life well-lived, Shirley discovers the invisible threads that stitch together the seemingly random events of her days, adding meaning even to the mundane. Having grown older, she is increasingly concerned with the potential pitfalls of modern medicine. She shares personal insights into nutrition, homeopathy, and alternative medicine, offering practical and bracing advice for anyone looking to expand his or her understanding of health and well-being. Beyond the physical, Shirley also explores those things that are unseen. What is consciousness? What is the purpose of our lives? Are we alone in the universe? And perhaps the greatest mystery of all, what happens to us after death? Filled with her trademark wit and candor, this is a fascinating, inspiring memoir that will delight and captivate Shirley's legions of fans and fellow travelers everywhere.

Sage-ing While age-ing December 3, 2008 Well my Dear Friend (Shirley) You did it again !! Well done. I thinks it's time to hit the road again and speak as you so well do, the "Light Beings" people need to hear it from the horse mouth, I'll even go on the road with you and Terry, I'm always here..... Great love Cameron Ponce de Leon
Lot's of Research November 17, 2008 In many ways this re-visits topics that Shirley MacLaine has shared before with readers. I am a fan of her style, her enthusiasm, and her pursuit of knowledge. And she shares it willingly in this latest book in her summary of the latest on her favorite topics. However, our Presidents' awareness of ET presence was not something I had known before. The contents gives one much to ponder and pursue if so inclined.
Delightful November 15, 2008 She brings a delicate truth within an enlightened question. What a joy reading this book! She has been questioning the hidden and the inevitable and she succeeded in opening our eyes on a greater truth. A book of wisdom, intelligence and warmth. Don't miss it.
Shirley's Best Yet September 16, 2008 As usual Shirley involves her efforts into the mysterious universe and its exciting ramifications, whether in the body or the heavens. She has done an exhausting and in depth job of researching matters that concern all of us as to outer space alien co-existence. The first part of the book explores the universe of the body and its needs. The second part of the book explores the possibility of the presence of beings from other solar systems that have been visiting us for many years or maybe milleniums. Her research into government cover ups on this issue makes for fascinating reading.
Hope there's more books to come September 9, 2008 The book's subject matter has been pretty well covered by others. You either choose to believe Shirley or not (about the spiritual/ET, etc.)
I think she holds back a lot of what she has either experienced or is aware of. I've heard it expressed that she is very well connected in who she knows. I hope she has more books forthcoming as I am waiting for her to really rip loose.
She's a good writer and knows how to do page turners. I confess that while her movie/TV career may be of prime interest to some, it's the other aspects of her life and what she knows in that arena is why I read her books.
She has an interesting website for those who haven't noticed it yet.
