Amazon.com Review If you've ever wondered why the latest fad diet doesn't work for you... well, there are lots of reasons, mostly the fact that it's a fad diet. But it could also be that you're the wrong blood type for the kinds of foods the diet recommends. Peter D'Adamo makes a persuasive argument that your blood type is an evolutionary marker that tells you which foods you'll process best, and which will be useless calories. He covers the entire range for each of the four blood types, from entrées to condiments and seasonings, and also makes type-specific exercise and lifestyle recommendations.

Eat Right for Your Blood Type November 17, 2009 J. A. Wolf (Idaho, USA) This book made a lot of sense. I don't know if it is true or not I haven't decided to use it. The example recipes were a little lacking, however.
Great Book November 15, 2009 Linda Jensen This book was in excellent condition for a used book. I really like the book for reference on what I should and should not eat for my blood type. It is so interesting to learn about blood types and how they originated.
I also want to report that ordering from Amazon is so convenient and always a pleasure to do business with as you can track your purchases from the day you send in your order.
Great Book, Eliminated a Number of Health Problems, + for Longevity! November 12, 2009 workingmom (Harmony PA) I am so glad that Amazon suggested this book to me. I buy health food and general health books all the time and am considered by most a healthy person. But, following the general recommendations (of most other people) of eating fish, chicken, vegetables and whole grains was not working for me. Not all of the "superfoods" suggested by many health gurus will work for me. In my mid 40s, I run 5Ks, eat healthy but have arthritis that has required surgery already and IBS. I'm too young for arthritis. I'm type O. I think the arthritis was a reaction to wheat. I've cut it out completely, thrown my oatmeal away, tossed the cabbage, pickles, etc. My IBS cleared up immediately. Not one symptom. AND, I'm adding lean red meats back to my diet. I always felt good after a nice filet, and this is why.
After reading this book, frankly, I think if you took all the research on heart disease and cancer and were able to divide the statistics up by blood type, you would find that some people can eat red meat and not end up with cardiovascular disease, and some people can't. Same with cancer. And I think that if you are eating the wrong things for your type, you will encounter these diseases much sooner than someone who is eating for their type. This really explains why some diets work for some people and some don't. I think you would be silly not to buy this book or check it out from the library. Although I didn't know my kids' blood types, I was able to find out that both hubby and I were O+, which makes them some kind of O, so we all can eat the same kinds of things. I told my kids I was aiming to live to 120, and I think the info in this book is giving me a real shot at it that I didn't have before.
Well Pleased October 24, 2009 David Lawrence (Chattanooga, TN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this book and chose the vendor very carefully based on his description of "mint condition" under used books. He was absolutely correct in his description and I received my order in a very timely manner. I would choose this vendor again very readily.
Eat Right 4 your type October 20, 2009 Cecile J. Freemond-brown (Cleves, Ohio) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this book on the recommendation of a friend. Whether or not you are going to follow the diet for your blood type to a T or not, the book is very interesting. The book is just a guideline for eating properly for your type.
