Product Description This text includes the basic foundation information of limnology in an appropriate length for a one-semester course. It is written for intermediate undergraduate college students with some science background, including an introductory biology course. The text is especially well-suited for undergraduate majors in zoology, botany, conservation biology, biology, environmental studies, ecology, aquatic biology, and related fields.. . Introduction to Limnology contains more biology, ecology, and human-environmental connections than other such books on the market. The text emphasizes aquatic ecology, with a wide range of ecological fields represented, including: landscape, ecosystem, physiological, population, community, and biome..

Complete Reference September 21, 2008 Written by a seminary in the field of Limnology, Ecology, and Aquatic Biology, Stanley Dodson's Limnology textbook is a complete reference of the above topics. Excellent illustrations and images, coupled with well-written text makes this text unusually accessible and useful throughout an undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate career. I've kept mine as a reference long after my Limnology course, and it has proved useful in writing a number of papers and as a professional reference.
