The Third Time is the Charm, NOT!!! November 24, 2008 I did not like the third series of this saga. The outcome was very predictable and the characters were underdeveloped.
Check out the Bobby Brown biography. Imagine being in one of the most successful boy bands of all time, New Edition; Then leave the group to become one of the biggest pop stars in the world; Date some of the most world renown celebrities, such as Janet Jackson and Madonna.... Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But...
One of the greatest stories ever told! November 23, 2008 I fell in love with tru to the game and Terri Woods after the first book. This was a great story and needs to be a movie. Part three was not better than one or to, but it ok because it gives you closure to the whole Gina and Qua thing. It could of had a better ending then what it did but like I said it was still good. Terri woods came through again and delivered a hell of a book. To whoever read part 1 and 2, you have to read 3. Remenber it's a classic........
BORING! DO NOT READ November 13, 2008 I wish I would have read the reviews first before I bought this book. What a complete waste of time and paper. I can't believe they killed trees to make this book. This book was the complete opposite of part 1. You would have thought after reading part 2, I would have learned my lesson. Quadir was soft and Gena was an idiot, I had to refer to part 1 just to make I was actually reading the right book. There was too many characters in this book to keep up with and these characters was not in part 1, about half the book was spent on Quadir and his involvement with the doctor, the other half was completely unnecessary. Did someone actually read part 1 of True to the Game, before they wrote this book, or did they just woke up one day and decided to write part 3, with out reading part 1. CAN I GET A REFUND.
disappointed October 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
to me it was a little boring and it was based on re-telling alot of what happened in the first two books. it's fine to bring people up to speed in the beignning of the book, but not in every chapter.
Hood Stories October 8, 2008 I love the ending to this story. I have read all 3 books and no disappointments at all. I do not like reading these urban stories but there is always a book that is worth the read and this is one of them.
