Product Description
A simple and tested system to reduce or eliminate procrastination, meet your goals and live the life and lifestyle you choose. A radical departure from self help books, this book is grounded in research about individual productivity, time management and goal achievement. The author explains in detail why past goal attainment efforts have failed. What follows is a step by step system to experiencing a better life.
The book presents a formula in both metaphor and steps for experiencing measurable results in income, personal competence, self confidence and core traits required for getting off the hamster wheel of life. Devoid completely of metaphysical thinking, this is an approach for real people in the real world that want to have a better life.
Ultimately, the system and original methods are developed from the most current scientific research in goal achievement, productivity, motivation and procrastination. Always easy to understand and apply, this book is for the person who has tried many ways or strategies to achieve some result in life only to be turned away. The book offers a new and unique approach to living.

5 out of 5 stars Detractor Needs to Retract   November 15, 2009

I sincerely hope "Wants Real Reviews" who gave this book one star (despite admitting not having read the book) will do the right thing and retract his review.

To begin with, all reviews, by default, come with a "read the rest of my reviews" whether you actually have any or not...including his.

As for his claims of reviewers saying the "best book I've ever read on the subject" and not having any other reviews...what exactly does that mean? I've read thousands (literally) of books but I only have about five reviews on Amazon. Why can they not be talking about other books in the same genre that they never bothered reviewing?

I almost didn't buy the book as a result of his one star review which would have been a diservice to both myself and the author which is why I hope he does the right thing, the honorable thing, and admit he was perhaps hasty in his criticism.

Having read hundreds of books of this genre I can unequivocally tell you this one beats the pants off most of the others.

Scientific research for the first time on the subject of goal setting and procrastination rather than the same tired stuff that gets rehashed again and again and which clearly doesn't work for the bulk of the population (otherwise we'd all be healthy, wealthy and wise)

Will this stuff work? I'll come back and let you know but from what I've read (haven't put all the exercises into practice yet) yes, I sincerely think it will. For the first time a lot of this stuff just makes sense unlike drivel like "The Secret."

Do yourself a favor...get this one.

PS: Incidentally, other reviewers listed in the book include luminaries like Jeffrey Gitomer, Wen Zhen of the European Commission Delegation, Michael D Walker of Cirque du Soleil's Production Team to name but a few. If they're stooges, I'll eat my hat.

5 out of 5 stars Simply Masterful - It's A Must Have!   November 11, 2009

Hmm - I would have to say .. "Insanely Brilliant!"

In a "beyond good" kind of way...

As long as Kevin is offering the free audio for purchasing two copies
you would be crazy not to take advantage of this offer.

I haven't received the books yet - but I can tell you so far the audio is worth
much much more, and many times the price of simply purchasing two copies ... "without question!"

I've been a fan of Kevin's work for a long time and I have to say this is
at the very least - amazing - outstanding - and masterful!

I'll let the rest of the reviews cover the details...

Now, the big question to Kevin is ... "how in the world do you top this?"

5 out of 5 stars Who would have thought...   November 10, 2009

Who would have thought that taking the action of designing your life could impact the way you spend your time? It's certainly counter-intuitive, yet sublimely true.

In a world of self-help mumbo jumbo, "The 168 Hour Week" tells it like it is. You may or may not like the answers, but the book is the best of scientific study, experience and real world practicality.

I've tried about every time management system out there, and frankly, none of them have brought me the results I wanted. That's all changed.

If you're committed, Kevin's system will yield results because it is driven by something much deeper than the old "to do" list -- your ideal life. Do you dare grasp it?

1 out of 5 stars Reviews are sales copies?   November 9, 2009

Why is it all the reviews sound like sales copies? I clicked on the "see all my reviews" of several of them and sure enough most are first time reviewers or review only this Authors books, but claim in the review, that this is the best of all they have seen. Really....Then why only review this book? I was going to buy it then realized this is not Covert persuasion.

5 out of 5 stars Ignore the Title & Get this book   November 3, 2009

When I saw the title, I thought hmmm he's just trying to ride on the success of the 4 hour work week by giving it a similar but shocking title.

Having heard him speak at a live event last year, however I knew his stuff was good.

However this book goes a little further by picking apart errors in your thinking to drill down to what is really driving your success or slamming on your breaks.

Its just out today, but managed to get my hands on the mp3 version to get it even quicker
by following his after-purchase instructions found here

[...]

You need to buy two copies to get the mp3, but this would be a small extra price to pay to get working
on the ideas a couple of days earlier. It's hard to imagine how this book would not pay for itself several
thousand times over.

No doubt, he has done extensive market testing on the title but it does not work for me. However thats
irrelevant because what is inside is solid platinum.

Ignore the title and get the book.

Craig
