| Customer Reviews: Hastily written review book February 16, 2009 Joshua Kornbluth (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
it's a necessary evil. Standard outline-based review. The editor should be shot though. The grammatical/spelling errors are frequent and blatant enough to make you cringe but they're tolerable. The blatant content errors i keep finding are good for keeping me on my toes, but really drag this book down as far as comprehensive quality review texts go. Still the bulk of the book is good for board and RITE prep. i'll let you know what happens after the exam.
Truly an Ultimate Review November 25, 2007 spindoc (new york) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I used this book as my primary source for the Neurology Boards & the last two RITE exams with fantastic results! I added little bits here and there and used the text to summarize topics into tables and charts as well as made my own flash cards from information on the pages of this book. I bought many of the new board review books and this was the best prep for the boards!!! Kudos to the authors.
quite ok January 12, 2007 Christine Bergmann 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Well this is not the "ultimate" review, but the book was ok for the preparation of the written part of the neurology boards (and I passed it!!!). However it seems like a shortened version of Victor and Ropper's "Principle of Neurology".
