Product Description There have been plenty of books written on the topic of Success & Failure. This book is remarkably different from all the rest. Billionaire Secrets of Success is the first success and failure book written by a person who has personally experienced being a millionaire three times, being bankrupt twice, and being a billionaire once. Bill's successes have been the subject of more than 470 news articles in publications ranging from Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek, Inc., People, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. The author's unique journey from poverty to being the twenty-fifth wealthiest person in America, with several ups and downs along the way, has given him an amazingly unique perspective from which to share his experiences and the lessons he learned. He shares with the reader his nine principles for attaining success. These nine principles are not the product of some academic conclusion. Bill has personally tested these nine principles, not once, not twice, not three times, but four times over the past twenty five years . . . and they have worked every time. These nine principles work for all, no matter education, social status, financial situation, or how many times they failed in the past. Here is what these nine principles did for him, and they can do the same thing for anyone: FROM? ? TO Poverty and welfare? ? 25th wealthiest person in America High school dropout? ? Permanent place in the Smithsonian Institute Working at traveling carnival? ? National Entrepreneur of the Year Gang member ? ? Case study by Harvard Business School Minimum wage? ? $100 million annual income Riding the bus? ? His own personal $25 million jet Homeless? ? $2 million, 12,000 square foot home Drawing unemployment? ? Employing 4,000 Million dollars in debt? ? Billionaire Bill's book is also unique in that it explains in plain language the mechanics of the mental processes that guarantee our success or our failure. Once you understands how these processes work, you can begin to change your life. It is not too late! No matter where you are or what you have done or failed to do . . . you can become the person you deserve to be! Let Bill show you the way.

No Secrets Reviewed. July 6, 2009 Amazon Lady (New York, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not sure what BILLIONAIRE secrets he is talking about. I was expecting to read about setting up corporations, tax strategies, investments, etc..Instead..the book was like a book on self estreem -- ie, have confidence, make a plan, believe in yourself, take action and you too can become a billionaire. Any self help seminar could have imparted the same advice.
I love the goal/promise section of this book May 17, 2009 Rollis Fontenot III (Houston, TX United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the concept he presents on pages 53-56. Making promises is much more effective than setting goals. There is also a wealth of information on how to formulate and implement your promise plan. I saw him speak at the Tom Hopkins Boot Camp in August 2007 and it has stuck with me ever since. I made several promises to myself on the play ride home and have either fulfilled or are working on fulfilling everyone that I wrote down. I highly recommend this book.
Missing Chapter! June 19, 2008 J. Sever (Texas) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This Bill Bartmann book is awesome! ...if only it was complete.
In the Preface you are given a synopsis of Chapter 5, however there is no Chapter 5 in the book.
I believe the hardback version is complete. I am waiting to find out for myself.

Self-esteem or just greed? March 10, 2008 Frank Walker (Spokane, WA USA) 9 out of 18 found this review helpful
I attended a one day $2,000 seminar of Bill Bartmann's. Very nice man, definitely a hard worker, honest. But at the end of the day and in the weeks and months to follow I asked myself 'was it worth $2,000?' My answer was no. Maybe I am cheap, but to me the seminar was worth somewhere in the $150 to $250 range. How does he get away with charging $2,000? I'm sure he would call it self-esteem. If self-esteem is asking for the moon when you are handing out gumballs, then Bill Bartman definitely has self-esteem. But I think the purpose of paying $2,000 is to get information that will make it possible for you to earn more than the $2,000 paid out. It didn't. Maybe I missed something. That said, I want to emphasize that Mr. Bartmann, based on his book and other information I have found about him, seems to be genuinely honest and likable. And courageous. He did earn the millions, possibly the billion, through hard work and intelligence. But that doesn't mean you should cough up whatever a person asks for a seminar.
Great book, great speaker and great story. February 28, 2008 Patrick Cash (Gadsden, Alabama USA) 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
Don't listen to the two reviews below. They are trash.
You can easily see they are written by someone using two different names a day apart. Who knows why some loser would do this to try and smear a guy that's trying to help millions of people (including thousands of high school kids) with his teachings...
Yes, Bill was a billionaire, and yes, now he's not and is a motivational speaker. What's wrong with that? I think it's great.
What have you done with your life?? (Hopefully more than the loser who wrote the two reviews below.)
Bill's had his ups and downs and I think that's what makes his story so great.
If you will follow the 5 things he teaches you can be a better person and achieve more in the process.
Bill will teach you these things in detail, but to sum it up, they are:
1. Think Big!
2. Believe in Yourself. Self Esteem is EVERYTHING.
3. Share Your Vision.
4. Execute. Get Off Your Couch and Take Action.
5. Never Ever Give Up.
If you get a chance to hear him speak do it.
