I purchased this book for my 10 year old grandson who is getting more involved in "magic" since he's been 9 years old. He was quite thrilled with the gift which was one of his Christmas presents and pretty much ignored his other gifts after he opened this book...he just sat there enthralled reading it. I highly reccommend it !
