Product Description THE BEACH... A breathtakingly beautiful supermodel disappears from a swimsuit photo shoot at the most glamorous hotel in Hawaii. Only hours after she goes missing, Kim McDaniels's parents receive a terrifying phone call. Fearing the worst, they board the first flight to Maui and begin the hunt for their daughter.
...WILL NEVER BE... Ex-cop Ben Hawkins, now a reporter for the L.A. Times, gets the McDaniels assignment. The ineptitude of the local police force defies belief--Ben has to start his own investigation for Kim McDaniels to have a prayer. And for Ben to have the story of his life.
...THE SAME FOR YOU AGAIN. All the while, the killer sets the stage for his next production. His audience expects the best--and they won't be disappointed. Swimsuit is a heart-pounding story of fear and desire, transporting you to a place where beauty and murder collide and unspeakable horrors are hidden within paradise.

Swimsuit by James Patterson November 18, 2009 G. West (Huntington Ma) I bought this book used, it was like brand new. I took it on vacation with me to the Bahamas and had it read in two afternoons on the beach. Another great book by J. Patterson.
An Embarrassment to James Patterson November 14, 2009 Teresa L. Judd This was probably the worst books I've read this year. Totally gross, excessive violence in a very weak plot. If I were either of these authors, I would be embarrassed to put my name to it. It must have been about the money.
Too Violent .... bad ending! November 12, 2009 S. Bennett (Bay City, MI) This book was way too violent - unnecessarily so. It was almost disturbing at times. Also it seemed once the book hit it's climax it abruptly ended. It left a lot of ends untied and I hope it isn't a set up for a sequel. I tend to enjoy James Patterson books maybe it was a poorly chosen co-author. Either way, I will not be passing this book along to anyone. It went straight to the donation box.
James Patterson's Swimsuit November 11, 2009 Gail Covitz This was a gift to a friend. We both love James Patterson's novels and I heard that this one was exciting.
Disgusting October 31, 2009 C. Soares (SoCal, USA) I admit that I am one who can't wait for the next Alex Cross or even Womens Murder Club books. I enjoy just about everything by James Patterson. Swimsuit, however, is a glaring exception. It is unnecessarily brutal and the blood and gore are non-stop. The book is disturbing to say the least. I kept hoping that the story would redeem itself and the despicable acts would at least not be fully detailed, but that was not the case. I would NOT recommend this book at any level.
