5 out of 5 stars Very helpful!   November 4, 2009
K. Learnard (Portland, OR USA)
These cards are easy to read; the definitions are short and to the point. I've actually been able to get through almost the whole box in about a month, just by going over a few cards every morning. I've seen the words on numerous practice tests I've done. Altogether a good purchase.

2 out of 5 stars GRE Flash cards   October 23, 2009

Plenty of flash cards. Too many! Cards themselves are thin and difficult to use. Didn't really help much.

1 out of 5 stars kaplan should be ashamed   October 10, 2009

Buyer beware! Although the box says "2nd edition" beneath the title (only on the version w/ yellow text), these are the exact same cards as the "1st edition." I can't help but think that this is Kaplan's shameful attempt to prey upon students, who are desperate to do well on the GRE, by repackaging the same product and marking up the price. It's a sham!

4 out of 5 stars Great but missing one feature I love   October 6, 2009
Pamela Richardson
I love this product but haven't taken my GRE yet to know how well I will benefit from having it. I can say though that it would be nice to know where the root word was derived on the cards; Latin, Greek etc... Otherwise what I have done is separate out the words I don't know, in alphabetical order. I put holes in the top and those cards on a ring. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I study in short spurts whenever I can throughout each day.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent product!   October 1, 2009

Decent box of vocabulary cards that have the pronunciation, definition, synonym and sentence on each card. The only drawback is that the cards are printed on flimsy paper so they can easily bend if not held properly. Other then that, I think they are a good learning tool for people who are too lazy to make their own vocabulary cards.
