This book is excelent for teachers any grade. It gives a lot of great ideas, and best of all, it inlcudes the evaluation part.

This book is so well planned & written! It has 2 parts: Learning about the Elements of Art & Using the Elements of Art. It teaches Line, Shape, Color, Value, Texture, Form, & Space. It has 'how to use' pages, words you need to know, Resources for teaching, and more. It is easy to teach, understand, & get students interested in. I use it for home school. The projects are fun and educational. My daughter loves it.

I bought this book and was slightly disappointed with the content. I think the book is suited to someone who wants to learn about the basic elements of art and would like a simple introduction to some of the famous artists in history. If you already have a good understanding of art elements and artists, then I would save your money for another text.

I love this book. It is actually a book required for a class I am taking and has many pages that can be photo copied to allow your students to work on them. You can try out the art activities first and then do them with your students. Its a great resource. Highly recommended!

Great teaching aide for meeting standards; reproducible teaching tools. I liked this book because it gets to the essence of the most important art knowledge to share with students.
