thank you September 10, 2009 A. E. Meyers Thank you for the book. I have already used it a great deal for my class!
Loved this book June 30, 2009 Elizabeth C. Allen (Newbury Park, CA) I took a class at the local junior college that required this book. This book was extremely useful and well organized. There are great ideas for any age. I also thought it was great how this book also included artists that you could relate different techniques to. Great book to have if you are thinking of going in to the teaching field.

I purchased this book for a class I am taking. This book is a good resource, and I plan to keep it after I've finished my class. It contains a lot of examples of projects that you can do with children of various ages. There is also an emphasis on safety and age appropriateness.

A good overview of creativity in children November 5, 2006 Susan Blakeley (California) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the book as required reading for a college class. It was easy to read, nice layouts on each page, highlighted areas focused on interesting information. Each chapter ends with review questions which I also found helpful.
