DON"T waste your time/money November 19, 2009 Willow (Portland, OR USA) This little paperback is an absolute waste of money, time and resources. Within the book, you will find that the facing page lists two and only two medication names, the flip page will indicate a short list of side effects and a short list of nursing implications for each of the two meds listed on the preceding page. The info for each medication is way too brief to be meaningful to the nursing student. Having taken a number of NCLEX-RN preparatory exams, I cannot imagine this book will provide anything meaningful to the student who is preparing for the real thing. There are so many worthwhile NCLEX-RN books out there - but this is not one of them!
Good Book October 5, 2009 S. Pirl (Birmingham, AL) Handy pocketbook. Drugs are broken down by category and has all the necessary infor needed for each drug. This book helps me to organize my thoughts.
Quick Way of Learnig Medications for the NCLEX-RN Exam May 2, 2009 Alvin Reid 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I liked the format of this book because it is brief, concise and easy to read and memorize medications which are most likely to be in the NCLEX.
K Tyler April 24, 2009 Kanita Tyler I think this is a great resource for meds to know for NCLEX. Good to add to the Kaplan NCLEX-RN strategies book.
Medications April 24, 2009 K. Kisded (California) Hard to find the medication you are looking for. Not easy if you are in a quick look-up.
