Ripp-Off November 19, 2009 Aila Kamau I purchased a book from this seller, emailed 2 days later since my friend gave me the same book for free, the seller claimed they had shipped the book, 10 days later i still hadnt received it, when i recived it, I immediately shipped it back under registered mail, dint even open the package, well i requested to get my full refund and they only refunded half the amount, stating that they got amazon fee, shipping and all this other fees, well, this wasnt my first time returning a book on Amazon and i got my full refund, I would not reccomend anyone to this seller, such a rip off!!!!
Terrible Book October 31, 2009 ebiz review New Perspectives book was awful. Lots of information but only a few examples in every aspect of the tutorial. The question at the end of the lesson sometimes did not relate to the material learned. For instance in one question it was asked to use a space(syntax) but how to apply it in was no where in the tutorial. Another example asked to use the (all) with syntax (same problem}Very vague examples . this book could be and needs to be split into two books with better definition and explanation . I have recommened to my present college not to use any more. I think the authors need to recognize that thier experts but, everyone elese is not!! Your A Student!!
never even got the book October 13, 2009 A. Neilan who puts a book online for sale and just never sends it? an idiot. that's who
A Big Help! August 26, 2009 Lauren M. Moriarty (New York, NY) This textbook was so valuable in my course on Access and other MS programs. It took each function or task step by step so that I never got lost. It was easy to refer to when I had a specific question. Most of all, though, I have retained the information and was able to get an A in this course, even though Access is no walk in the park!

I had a shipping issue with this company! When I ordering this book on Amazon web site. At the end of the functions...gave me no option to change the shipping from standard shipping to overnight shipping. I would have had to cancel out everything I had just typed in, and go back into my profile..change it. Then retype the order over again. As a college student and over loaded with study. I had no time to do this over. I just needed this book ASAP. So I submitted the order anyway and then emailed the company to get back to me ASAP before shipping the book and that I needed shipped overnight. They email me the next day..saying that they couldn't ship it over night due to that was the money they received from this order from Amazon was standard shipping. I asked if I could pay extra money with a credit card for shipping...they said they couldn't do that...the order has already been placed!!!!!
This forces me in to go get another book locally. After receiving the book a week or so later. I emailed back...that they had NO COMPANY NAME ON THE RETURN ADDRESS or INVOICE in their package for returning the book. They emailed me back after emailing several times... finally. No RETURE..it was MY FAULT do the shipping issue.
Not working with customers is not my fault and this is not right to treat a customer due to the fact I was in contact with them the next day in placing changing the shipping status on this order They should have worked with me in paying the extra shipping charge with a credit card over the phone..................(problem would have been solved.)
You just can't do this to people and get by with it!!!!!!!!!! I' am glad Amazon has this comment section for feed back from customers to voice our experience with book companies.
