 Great Resource for Test-taking Strategies November 9, 2009

I am currently a senior nursing student and this book was recommended to me by two professional nurses. I am so glad that I purchased it. It was definitely worth the investment! If you are struggling with answering "NCLEX" type questions(although you know the content), this will give you the strategies to answer the questions when all of the answers appear to be right.

This book is not originally what I expected it to be. It is a great aid in the development of an NCLEX study plan. The book maps out ways of eliminating wrong answers and gives you a map of how to approach NCLEX style questions. This book also includes a full set of NCLEX style questions so you can put into practice all the words of wisdom it provides. Overall, I think this book is a great studying tool.

not as through as Saunders but, a good review, smaller to carry, AND the cd is Mac friendly!

This book gives nice insight in different ways of thinking and preparing about NCLEX. What it doesn't have is a lot of questions. CD has 180 and there are 180 in the book, and that's it. I recommend Saunders review which has more than 4000 questions. I am glad that I have Kaplan review,but as I said there aren't a lot of questions to practice.

In my opinion this book was NOT the best for the boards. I and several friends agree that SAUNDERS is more uptodate with the material on NCLEX. With that said, I passed using Saunders and the CD. i did use Kaplan and honestly did not find it as good as Saunders. The best part, the CD has a few thousand questions including the "new format" style questions. Good luck on boards everyone.
