A must have book .... August 18, 2009 S. S. Bakshi (India) I have been doing MRI scans in India for the past fourteen years or so and have done a fair share of musculoskeletal stuff. Stoller and Berquist are very good but intimidating to a new entrant (e.g. a resident) to this subspeciality. This is an ideal stepping stone to the exciting world of musculoskeletal MR. The high point of the book is that it aids in forming concepts rather than just presenting facts. Wholeheartedly recommended.
Excellent book March 17, 2009 DCOM in Madrid (Spain) This is an excellent book. It covers the most frequent (and not so frequent) MSK pathology imaging in a smooth, simple and yet quite complete way. It may be too 'basic' for a MSK radiologist but it's perfect to have a general view during the residence and probably for the general radiologist as well. I believe every resident should have this one, particularly if they prefer less bulky and more 'to the point' writing, like myself.
Excellent April 22, 2007 R. Miller This is an excellent book that thoroughly covers the intended material. Great for spine. Get it!
Simply the Best February 25, 2006 C. Stillman (Tacoma, WA USA) I regard this as the best single text in radiology, and it's one of two that I use on a daily basis. I only bought it because someone stole my last one.
The writing is superb. The index is very useful and the pictures tell me nearly everything I need to know - starting with basic anatomy.
Great review August 13, 2005 K. A. Stephenson (Salt Lake City, UT USA) Not the most in depth source for MSK radiology but a great overview of important topics and their MRI findings.
