Pretty Good March 4, 2010 M. Altwail (Farmington Hills, MI) It's a pretty good book and very interesting as well. Has practice problems and lots of pictures and figures.
Book February 14, 2010 RPD (Texas) The book is excelent however it took way longer than expected to arrive, I contacted the seller and the person was very nice, and the book arrived in good conditions. I am happy with the transaction but it took a little too long.. but its ok i didnt mind it!
quality textbook December 21, 2009 david This textbook is well-organized an clearly written. Clinical relevance permeates classical and molecular genetics. Very satisfied with this text and I will keep it as a reference for the future.
More like genetics of disease then clinical medicine December 20, 2009 ninjasuperstar (Iowa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of those comprehensive texts that can be difficult to wade through at times, but at least the writing is decent even if there is a glut of information. The focus is on the genetic mechanisms of disease and technologies used to detect and augment genetic information. For me, the book serves as a good review and extension of first-year biology, as well as an introduction to where DNA technology came, where it is, and where it might be going.

Good for med school March 29, 2009 Henrique I. Miake (Brasília, DF-Brasília) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The book is very good on human genetics, but lack on other forms of life specialy prokarios if you seek a better understanding of evolution, or want a better molecular part, a deeper understanding I suggest you go after a Griffith/Suzuki or Snustad perharps
