Must have November 21, 2009 Chrissie Padilla (Orange County, CA) I started this book after having completed all the PowerScore LSAT bibles and it was a good starting point to "try out" the PS techniques on real lsat questions. This book has 3 prep tests along w/ explanations and answers. After PowerScores great info I felt that the tips section of this book was lacking but not a waste of time, simply not in depth enough for me. This is a good practice book and I truly appreciated that the question difficulty was noted, which helped me better gauge my level of understanding. Must have!
What I wanted September 13, 2009 T. Henson (United States) This is exactly what I wanted to help me study for the LSAT. I haven't taken it yet, but with I hope with this book and the other study aids I'm able to get the score I want.
a good place to start September 10, 2009 teddy (portland, or) this book is not going to be all that i need to prepare for taking the lsat but its a good compass for strengths and weaknesses. it is also helpful as a look into the perspective the tests originate from. i like that the writers are not into any kind of head trip; i've read other stuff about test taking (for the lsat, the gre's etc) and the books always get into various psychologies, you wont find that here. just straight up tests, analysis of question types and answers broken down. if i had the attention span to memorize all of the information in here i could probably kill the test with this book alone (plus some more practice tests) but chances are i will have to resort to more gimmicky stuff because it is just a little to dry for it to be worth the effort.
useful August 26, 2009 C. Nicole (Georgia) Very useful book when prepping for lsat. Definitely helps not only with practice but also on how to improve what you are doing wrong. Book arrived in the exact condition that was stated in description and on time.
Great preperation August 11, 2009 Joe Smith This is the best LSAT prep I have come accross. I've used kaplan and Princeton review and I can not stress enough what a difference using real LSAT questions makes. When using the other sources I would get bogged down with their confusing techniques and approaches to the problem. This book has about 55 pages dedicated to tips and techniques which are simple and easy to use. The full explanations after every test do a good job of explaining why the right answer is right and why you were incorrect if you chose any other answer. Mainly the best thing about this book is the results and confidence it brings. My score went up 9 points from a combination of this book and the "10 real lsats" book, also from lsac. Completely opened new doors for me in regards to law schools and I am more than happy to recommend it to anyone looking to reach their full potential on the LSAT without spending serious $$$ on classes.
